The “Business law” course is addressed to students from Economics – English line of study and Geographical studies and it aims to contribute at the formation of an economic and juridical thinking in the business field. The discipline of study has as main purpose to create the possibility for the students to acquire knowledge and information concerning the commercial concepts and the main regulations in the business field and, also, about the most important juridical institutions. By studying the juridical concepts, notions and regulations which govern the commercial relationships, the students will acquire a skill in applying the principles of law which will be helpfull, subsequently, in exercising the profession by making good decisions fundamented on legal basis and regulations.

The discipline of study has as main purpose to create the possibility for the students to acquire knowledge and information concerning the commercial concepts and the main regulations in the business field and, also, about the most important juridical institutions. By studying the juridical concepts, notions and regulations which govern the commercial relationships, the students will acquire a skill in applying the principles of law which will be helpfull, subsequently, in exercising the profession by making good decisions fundamented on legal basis and regulations.
For achieving this goal, we will make a presentation of the main juridical institutions of the Business law as a discipline of study, such as: the juridical commercial relations, the commercial facts (the trade operations), the participants in the trade activities and their legal status as traders, the legal regime of the trade register, the trading fund, the organisation and functioning of the trading companies and other legal entities traders, the insolvency procedure and its two components – the judicial reorganization and bankruptcy, the commercial obligations, mainly the contracts, the juridical instruments in the labour/work field.
The theoretical knowledge acquired by studying the topics of the discipline are destined to contribute to the formation and completion the specific preparation of the students in order to make possible an approach of the economic or commercial phenomenen from a juridical perspective.
